TechneTrain's Mission

At TechneTrain, we understand that keeping up on and complying with OSHA regulations are just one of the MANY facets of running a business.  Today more than ever, businesses are challenged by the time required to research and stay on top of these regulations.  Developing safety programs and performing the necessary training of employees is a time-consuming process.  TechneTrain was developed to help make these tasks simpler for businesses like yours.  We help you stay up to date on OSHA regulations and provide you with resources to simplify the development of your safety programs and to perform the required employee training.

TechneTrain was developed in response to client needs at TENCON’s on site engineering projects.  TENCON expanded its industrial hygiene and OSHA activities as environmental regulations rapidly increased in quantity and complexity in the 1980’s.  As OSHA “Right-to-Know” laws were stiffened and expanded to smaller service businesses, TechneTrain developed a do-it-yourself training and self-audit program that is now used in all 50 states and in over 1,800 businesses.  Nationally, the program has been purchased for distribution by state and federal trade associations, and recently by the largest waste management firm in the United States.

Today, TechneTrain offers OSHA Compliance employer guides and turn-key employee safety training products for a wide variety of industries. TechneTrain also provides comprehensive technical training on topics in addition to OSHA compliance, including waste management, emergency response activities, chemical handling and chemical safety, infectious agent control, medical waste management, and industrial point-of-use training for infrequent requirements.

In the professional community, TechneTrain teaches courses for the University of Cincinnati on Environmental Assessments, the State of Ohio Licensing Course for Asbestos, the Cincinnati Board of Realtors Hazardous Materials Course for commercial real estate professionals, and numerous other courses, including OSHA Compliance for local industry and colleges.
